Lucas Amory

Pianist and conductor Lucas Amory is a fourth-year undergraduate at Harvard College double concentrating in Music and German with a secondary in Government while pursuing a Masters in Piano Performance at the New England Conservatory of Music in the studio of Hae-Sun Paik, having previously studied with Professor Julian Martin in the Juilliard School’s Pre-College Program. Most recently making his orchestral debut with the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra in 2023 playing Beethoven’s 5th Piano Concerto, Lucas is also a 2020 Presidential Scholar of the Arts Semifinalist and National YoungArts Foundation Finalist in Classical Music. As a pianist, he has received top prizes at the James Yannatos Concerto Competition, Lyra Young Artists Music Competition, the Claudette Sorel International Piano Competition, and the Canadian International Piano Competition, among others. In his native New York City, he has performed at the 92nd St.Y, Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall, and multiple times at Alice Tully Hall. He has collaborated with many esteemed artists including Bruce Adolphe, the Escher String Quartet, Jeremy Denk, Nico Muhly, and Claire Chase. During the summer, he has attended the Ravinia Steans Institute of Music, Aspen, Music Academy, Yellowbarn, and Morningside Music Bridge. As a conductor, Lucas is the Music Director of Harvard’s Bach Society Orchestra, and has involved himself in many Harvard-Radcliffe Dramatic Club and Harvard College Opera productions, most recently music directing Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812. He is also employed as a baritone Ferris Choral Fellow in the University Choir at Memorial Church. In his down time, Lucas enjoys exploring non-classical music, cinema, and following the Boston Red Sox and the Celtics.

Enoch Li

Enoch Li is a violinist and conductor based in Hong Kong. A second-prize winner of the inaugural Ysaye International Music Competition, he has received a number of awards from competitions both internationally and locally and has attended masterclasses by renowned musicians such as Ilya Grubert, Kirill Troussov, Ning Feng, and Christoph Poppen. He has made his solo debut in prestigious halls worldwide including the Finlandia Hall Helsinki, the Capella Saint Petersburg, and the Shanghai Oriental Art Centre. As a conductor, Enoch began his studies under the tutelage of Dr. Wai Hong Yip in 2018. His teachers include Federico Cortese and Samuel Pang; he has participated in masterclasses by Mark Laycock and Tim Redmond. He co-founded and debuted with the Hong Kong Youth Philharmonia in 2021 and will return to conduct the orchestra in 2023. Enoch is a sophomore enrolled in the Harvard-New England Conservatory dual degree program and is studying with Nicholas Kitchen; he also studies violin with Lewis Kaplan. At Harvard he is a prospective Mathematics major.
