Enoch Li

Enoch Li is a violinist and conductor based in Hong Kong. A second-prize winner of the inaugural Ysaye International Music Competition, he has received a number of awards from competitions both internationally and locally and has attended masterclasses by renowned musicians such as Ilya Grubert, Kirill Troussov, Ning Feng, and Christoph Poppen. He has made his solo debut in prestigious halls worldwide including the Finlandia Hall Helsinki, the Capella Saint Petersburg, and the Shanghai Oriental Art Centre. As a conductor, Enoch began his studies under the tutelage of Dr. Wai Hong Yip in 2018. His teachers include Federico Cortese and Samuel Pang; he has participated in masterclasses by Mark Laycock and Tim Redmond. He co-founded and debuted with the Hong Kong Youth Philharmonia in 2021 and returned to conduct the orchestra in 2023. Enoch is a junior enrolled in the Harvard-New England Conservatory dual degree program and is studying with Nicholas Kitchen; he also studies violin with Lewis Kaplan. At Harvard he is a Mathematics major.

2024-2025 Assistant Music Director

Moshi Tang

Moshi Tang is a sophomore from Cleveland, Ohio studying in the Harvard-New England Conservatory dual degree program. He currently studies violin with Miriam Fried and has previously studied with Joan Kwuon, Elizabeth Faidley, and Liesl Langmack. Moshi was a finalist in the 2023 National YoungArts Competition and a semifinalist in the International Johansen Competition in 2022. He was also the 2021-2022 state winner of the Music Teachers National Association Competition in the categories of both Senior String Performance and Composition. Moshi has attended summer music festivals such as the Taos School of Music, the National Youth Orchestra of the United States, the Young Artist Institute at Chamber Music Northwest, and the Bowdoin International Music Festival. At Harvard, Moshi is undecided on his major but enjoys physics and philosophy. He is involved in many musical activities on campus, including the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra and the chamber music program. After serving as co-Music Director of the Mozart Society Orchestra in spring 2024, he is excited to begin serving as Assistant Music Director of the Bach Society Orchestra in fall 2024.
