Harvard’s largest student-run orchestra. Staffed, managed, and conducted entirely by undergraduates.
For over 70 years, Harvard's premier undergraduate chamber orchestra has been dedicated to performing top-quality baroque, classical, romantic, and modern repertoire for the Greater Cambridge community. Notable BachSoc alumni include Yo-Yo Ma, Alan Gilbert, and John Harbison.
Concerts & Events
The Bach Society Orchestra's 2025-2026 season has thus far featured perennial classics, including works by Haydn, Brahms, and Mendelssohn. Our upcoming concert on February 27th will feature Rise, Again, an original composition by Christian Yom ‘27, the 2025-2026 Composition Competition Winner.
