Harvard’s largest student-run orchestra. Staffed, managed, and conducted entirely by undergraduates.
For over 70 years, Harvard's premier undergraduate chamber orchestra has been dedicated to performing top-quality baroque, classical, romantic, and modern repertoire for the Greater Cambridge community. Notable BachSoc alumni include Yo-Yo Ma, Alan Gilbert, and John Harbison.
Concerts & Events
The Bach Society Orchestra's 2025-2026 season has thus far featured perennial classics, including works by Haydn, Brahms, and Mendelssohn. Our upcoming concert on November 15th will feature Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor, Op. 64, with 2025-2026 Concerto Competition Winner Bianca Ciubancan ‘28.
