Harvard’s largest student-run orchestra. Staffed, managed, and conducted entirely by undergraduates.
For over 70 years, Harvard's premier undergraduate chamber orchestra has been dedicated to performing top-quality baroque, classical, romantic, and modern repertoire for the Greater Cambridge community. Notable BachSoc alumni include Yo-Yo Ma, Alan Gilbert, and John Harbison.
Concerts & Events
The Bach Society Orchestra is excited to begin its 2026-2027 season, showcasing diverse orchestral repertoire and collaborations with musicians across the Harvard community. Our upcoming concert on October 10th will feature Brahms’ Schicksalslied with the Harvard University Choir.
